This Easter, CARDET proudly supported three meaningful initiatives: Adopt a Family for Easter by Παγκύπριο Συντονιστικό Συμβούλιο Εθελοντισμού (ΠΣΣΕ), as well as actions by Πασυκαφ / Pasykaf and Generation for Change CY, joining forces to make a greater impact through our #twenty4twenty campaign.

Our team purchased their Easter candles from PASYKAF and collected a wide range of essential items from clothes and food to baby supplies and Easter treats, spreading warmth, hope, and joy to families and individuals in need!

As part of our #twenty4twenty campaign, our team rolled up their sleeves at the Blood Donation Centre in Engomi to donate blood and give the gift of life. 💉🩸

Every donation can save up to three lives, a powerful reminder that small acts of kindness can have a life-changing impact! We are deeply grateful to continue standing by our community and giving back in ways that truly matter.

As part of CARDET’s #twenty4twenty campaign and our 20th-anniversary celebrations, we kicked off February by giving back to our furry friends at Simba Animal Aid – Cyprus Dog Shelter & Nicosia Dog Shelter-Καταφύγιο Σκύλων Λευκωσίας!

What we achieved together:

• Dog Walks & Care: Our volunteers spent quality time walking and caring for the dogs, keeping them active and happy at Simba Dog Shelter.
• Donations: Thanks to our amazing community, we provided essential items—food, blankets, leashes, toys, and more—to support Simba Dog Shelter’s & Nicosia Dog Shelter’s vital work!

This year, as part of our 20-year celebration and the #twenty4twenty campaign, we joined forces to make the holiday season brighter for vulnerable families in our community.

Through the incredible generosity of our team, we prepared thoughtful care packages filled with clothes and supermarket vouchers. Together, we have shown the true meaning of the holidays: compassion, community, and giving back.

As part of our #twenty4twenty campaign celebrating CARDET’s 20th anniversary, we were honored to contribute to SPAVO’s “Secret Santa Supports Shelters” initiative. This meaningful effort brought joy and essential support to mothers and children in need during the holiday season.

Our team came together to spread festive cheer by donating essentials to bring the warmth of Christmas, and handcrafting heartfelt Christmas cards!

Seeing our community unite to brighten the holidays for those who need it most was truly inspiring. Wishing everyone a joyful and heart-warming holiday season!

Το CARDET συμμετείχε ενεργά στην πρωτοβουλία Saturday Aftermarket του @zfw_cy – Zero Food Waste Cyprus καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια του Οκτωβρίου!

Κάθε Σάββατο, οι εθελοντές μας στη Δημοτική Αγορά του ΟΧΙ συνέλεγαν φρούτα και λαχανικά που δεν μπορούσαν να πωληθούν, προσφέροντας τους μια δεύτερη ζωή! Τα βρώσιμα προϊόντα διατέθηκαν σε όσους τα είχαν ανάγκη, ενώ τα μη βρώσιμα κομποστοποιήθηκαν, συμβάλλοντας σε ένα πιο βιώσιμο μέλλον.

Αυτή η δράση ήταν μέρος της επετειακής θεματικής #Twenty4Twenty, γιορτάζοντας 20 χρόνια λειτουργίας του CARDET και αναδεικνύοντας τη δέσμευσή μας για κοινωνική πρόοδο και στήριξη της κοινότητας.
