Visual/ Video Literacies- The Overview of a successfully completed project

, Cyprus, Greece, United Kingdom and across Europe. To do so, two MOOC courses were designed and developed for Higher Education educators and delivered online. The MOOCs were also open to other people who shared the interest and passion on visual/ video literacies; something that created an online multidisciplinary and more interactive field of action.

The feedback received from participants to the MOOCs was very positive. It seems that the Visual/ Video Literacies project has influenced the participants’ life – and changed their perceptions on how they use visual learning both in their classrooms and in daily practice. In addition, the participants learned about new ways of thinking on screen and became aware of visual thinking strategies in order to enhance their performance and to promote business communication.

The only thing you need to do is to register here and complete the online MOOC courses developed during the project’s lifespan- both MOOCs are still open and free to the public. At the end of each MOOC course, a certificate is generated to validate the successful completion of the online course for each participant.
