The SELF-E Consortium sets its next steps forward

The SELF-E Erasmus+ project consortium held its 3rd project meeting on the 18th-19th of June in Sofia, Bulgaria. The meeting served as an opportunity for the implementing team to go through and evaluate the work of the project and coordinate its next steps for the expert execution of its forthcoming actions.

During the meeting, special focus was given in putting a plan in place in the Learning Activity SELF-E will be organizing in Cyprus in October to present the tools developed by SELF-E to 16 staff members from all partner organizations on how to work with youth workers on providing them the non-formal training course on self-employment SELF-E and building up their capacity to effectively use them. Additionally, they examined the progress of the outputs of the project setting a structured plan to finalize them.

SELF-E, is implemented in Cyprus by CARDET and works for the promotion of quality youth work in Europe in a bid to foster inclusion and boost the employability of young people with fewer opportunities. Through its workings, it will develop and make available a Toolkit for Youth workers, a Set of Practical Exercises as a ‘Pathway to lifestyle self-employment’ and an Assessment Tool for validation of competence.
