SOCI@LL project demonstrated the toolkits it developed through its workings at a peer learning event organised by CARDET at the Elementary School of Mathiatis. The event provided an excellent opportunity for the teachers of the Mathiatis School to learn how the project’s Toolkit for Leaders and the Toolkit for Educators can be utilised to introduce and promote social inclusion initiatives within the school community.
Teachers were also informed about SOCI@ALL’s next actions and shared their thoughts and suggestions as to present challenges and points of interest in regard to schools and the field of education as a whole.
The Toolkit for Leaders and the Toolkit for Educators aim to promote inclusiveness and collaboration in schools while fostering innovation, multicultural learning, and civic participation. The first presents a model inclusive school based on visibility, empowerment, inclusion, and cooperation, while the latter explores ways to drive and apply educational innovation and foster multicultural learning in and out classrooms.
Both toolkits are available on the project’s website.
