The Research and Development Centre CARDET is pleased to invite you to the International Conference of the Identity and Diversity Picture Book Collection project (IDPBC) entitled ‘Social identities and multiculturalism: The role of literacies and multilingualism in evolving societies’.
The conference focuses on the importance of literacies, and especially picture-books, in positively affecting pre-primary and primary school students, who feel – or are considered to be – “different” from the majority.
The conference will be held on June 30, 2017 at the University of Nicosia, in Nicosia, Cyprus. The language of the Conference will be English and workshops in Greek and in English will follow. The participation to the conference is free and all participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
