In the frames of the DECENT project, CARDET conducted a workshop with 14 stakeholders, who discussed and provided feedback for the project’s questionnaire, which will be distributed in the next few months. The participants were representatives of adult education centers, schools, educational departments in local and regional government, as well as adult educators.
This first workshop was informative and introduced the idea of the project and the planned activities. The stakeholders went through the questionnaires and commented on the quality of the questions, as well as to the type of data that will be collected. Overall, the questionnaire is well crafted and partners need to do some polishes before the questionnaire is distributed to the beneficiaries to participate in the research.
This is considered to be the first step to overcoming the barriers of resentment and shame and helping those with functional literacy.
