Conference: Development of Adult Education Strategies: Trends and Priorities in Cyprus and Europe

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Youth and CARDET, are organising the conference ‘Development of Adult Education Strategies: Trends and Priorities in Cyprus and Europe’. The conference aims to present, explore and analyse data, developments and opportunities in the field of adult education and lifelong learning in Cyprus and Europe.

For this purpose, representatives of leading European Organisations and Networks in the field will be taking part in the conference:

  • Gina Ebner, European Association of the Education of Adults
  • Charalambos Vrasidas, Executive Director, CARDET
  • Representatives from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Youth
  • Local experts

Through the works of the conference, the exchange of knowledge, views and experiences between experts, researchers and professionals from the field will be encouraged.

The conference will be followed by lunch and a networking opportunity for all participants.

The conference is organised in the framework of the DIMA 2.0 project which is implemented in Cyprus by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Youth, CARDET, and Innovade LI Ltd with the support of the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project aims to support adult education providers to improve and expand the provision of quality learning opportunities, tailored to the needs of low-skilled and low-qualified adults. As part of this effort, the conference will promote the exchange of knowledge, views, and experiences between experts, researchers, and professionals from the field.
