Steps ahead in Bilbao to make VR in education a reality

On the 15th and 16th of October the partners of the VRinSight Project gathered for the 3rd project meeting in Bilbao, Spain. The project partners met to review the recently completed curriculum modules of the VRinSight Training programme, which aims to introduce VR technology to the higher education institutes of Europe. The partnership also had the chance to experience an early version of the VRinSight classroom, an interactive VR space being specifically developed for the purposes of the project. From Cyprus, University of Nicosia is participating in this interesting project. University of Nicosia was represented in Bilbao by Panagiotis Kosma. The partnership plans to meet again in Tampere, Finland in January 2020 to undertake pilot testing of the finalised VRinSight training programme, including the completed VR-classroom.

The VRinSight project running from October 2018 to September 2020 is being led by FHM and the project is co-funded by the EU Erasmus plus programme.
