The inclusion of all students in education constitutes a top priority of the European Union. The report “Education policies and practices to foster tolerance, respect for diversity and civic responsibility in children and young people in the EU – Examining the evidence” (2016) widely acknowledged that schools have the potential to help young people become active and responsible citizens in today’s multicultural Europe.
For this purpose during the school year 2018/2019 the E-COURSE partnership will launch a series of pilot implementations via the launch of a School Support Platform which includes useful educational material and supports the communication and counseling of Primary School teachers in order to support migrant and refugee students outside the school context. Η ένταξη όλων των μαθητών στην εκπαίδευση αποτελεί μία από τις βασικές προτεραιότητες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης. Σε έκθεση που καταρτίστηκε για λογαριασμό της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής με τίτλο «Education policies and practices to foster tolerance, respect for diversity and civic responsibility in children and young people in the EU – Examining the evidence» (2016) αναγνωρίζεται το γεγονός ότι τα σχολεία έχουν τη δυνατότητα να υποστηρίξουν τους μαθητές, ώστε να καταστούν ενεργοί και υπεύθυνοι πολίτες στη σύγχρονη πολυπολιτισμική Ευρώπη.
Γι΄αυτόν τον σκοπό, κατά τη διάρκεια του σχολικού έτους 2018/2019, η κοινοπραξία του έργου E-COURSE θα προχωρήσει σε πιλοτική εφαρμογή μίας Εκπαιδευτικής Πλατφόρμας Υποστήριξης Σχολικών Μονάδων, η οποία περιλαμβάνει χρήσιμο υλικό και υποδομές επικοινωνίας και συμβουλευτικής σε εκπαιδευτικούς Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης, προκειμένου να παρέχει υποστήριξη σε μαθητές με μεταναστευτική βιογραφία και εκτός του σχολικού ωραρίου.
