InterCap addresses the emerging concern regarding public perceptions of (in)security and risk, and how it influences understanding of migration, sustainable development, roles, and responsibilities of EU citizens. The aims are to establish European CSOs-university networks; build the capacities of education actors; and promote global learning on migration, security and sustainable development in an interdependent world. InterCap will enhance critical understanding of migration and sustainable development in the context of SDGs. Activities include teacher education through the creation of European and national networks, the development of a training package, workshops, awareness raising activities, etc. It is expected that InterCap will build the capacity of CSOs-University teacher trainers in participatory methods; establish a cross European development education community of practice; increase the understanding of education authorities’ representatives on Policy Coherence for Development; and empower the collaboration among teacher trainers, teachers and students.
