The EU Presidency Project 5 (EUPP5) is a civil society-led initiative, funded by the European Commission, implemented during the EU Council Presidency Trio of Poland, Denmark, and Cyprus (October 2024 – September 2026).
Project aim
- Promote inclusive and sustainable international partnerships
- Empower civil society organisations (CSOs) across Europe and globally
- Increase public and political awareness of the EU’s global role
- Advocate for co-responsibility in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Specific Objectives
- Enable civil society to shape inclusive EU partnerships
- Ensure EU and Member States engage in meaningful, co-responsible international cooperation
- Enhance awareness and reflection on the EU’s global role and development agenda
