The Final Partner Meeting for the TUA Project in Palermo, Italy

On November 12, 2024, CARDET participated in the final partner meeting of the TUA (Training for Understanding Art) project, held in Palermo, Italy. The event brought together all partners to review the project’s key activities and outputs, including the TUA Curriculum, the TUA eLearning platform, and the TUA Toolkit.

During the meeting, partners presented and discussed the current status, progress, and completion of each project component. Special attention was given to the TUA Toolkit, the project’s final major deliverable. This practical guide is designed to support individuals with Autism or Down Syndrome in understanding the fundamentals of art and social entrepreneurship, promoting self-expression, and facilitating meaningful communication with others. The partners celebrated the completion and translation of the TUA Toolkit, marking a significant milestone for the project.

As the TUA project comes to an end, the next step is to engage with various organizations and professionals to gather feedback on the final output. This consultation phase will ensure that the Toolkit effectively meets the needs of its intended users and stakeholders. Stay tuned for more updates and details on upcoming Multiplier Events across Europe as we continue to promote inclusivity and empowerment through art and entrepreneurship.
