Green Champions – Green Leagues’ Local Tournaments

As part of the Green League project, an initiative that promotes sustainability through sports, partners successfully organized a local sports tournament that blended athleticism with environmental responsibility. Participants engaged in relay races inspired by the “Plogging” discipline—picking up litter while jogging—using collected waste bags as symbolic batons. The events also included a dedicated waste collection activity, reinforcing the importance of sustainability through action. These activities not only promoted physical well-being but also fostered a sense of community and environmental stewardship.

Green League aims to inspire individuals to adopt eco-friendly habits through the power of sports. See below the inspiring testimonies from participants who took part in this unique initiative!
