CARDET Promotes Youth Engagement through the UxGE Project at CASA College

CARDET recently organised an additional multiplier event for the United for a Green Europe (UxGE) project at CASA College, engaging students in discussions about sustainability, inclusion, and youth participation in shaping Europe’s green future.

During the event, students were introduced to the aims, objectives, and outcomes of the UxGE project, which focuses on empowering young people to take an active role in creating a more sustainable and inclusive Europe. The session also highlighted the opportunities offered to youth through EU-funded initiatives, encouraging students to take advantage of such programmes to develop their skills and contribute to positive social change.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of four CASA College students who had actively participated in the UxGE “Participatory Proposals for a Greener, More Inclusive, and Sustainable Europe” competition, held in Cyprus in the spring of 2025. The students formed two teams and produced creative video proposals, now available on YouTube.

Three of the participating students attended the event, where they were personally congratulated and presented with symbolic awards in appreciation of their contribution and enthusiasm. Their active involvement exemplifies the spirit of the UxGE project and serves as an inspiring example for other young people to engage in initiatives that promote sustainability and inclusion.

The event reaffirmed CARDET’s commitment to empowering youth, fostering environmental awareness, and supporting European collaboration for a greener and more inclusive future.
