Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
CARDET is committed to building an inclusive workplace where our people can confidently bring their whole selves to work. We recognise that an inclusive and diverse workforce are essential to bring forward the best talent.
We have a strict no tolerance policy against discrimination, harassment, vilification or victimisation of any kind. We believe that having diversity improves the quality of our decisions, enhancing our capacity to create value in society and everything we do.
To us, inclusion and diversity mean valuing and appreciating an individual for all the characteristics that make them unique.
ETHICS IN ACTION
We ensure all our people-related policies, systems and practices support an inclusive culture. Starting from our organisational values, we support and encourage inclusion and diversity at all levels of CARDET; from our Advisory board, our leadership team, our team members, partners and stakeholders.

EXPANDING BEYOND ORGANISATION
We support gender equality throughout the broader research and education industry by encouraging gender balanced forums, panels and attending internal and external events. Through our various social programmes and our CSR actions, we also aim to create a Diversity and Inclusion Community Outreach Group to support disadvantaged groups in society such as migrants, LGBTQI+ community, disabled people, etc.
