VET4Social Impact Hosts Webinar on Self-Assessment Tool for VET Providers in Egypt and Palestine

On 26 March 2026, the VET4Social Impact project successfully hosted an online webinar introducing its Self-Assessment Tool to stakeholders and organisations engaged in vocational education and training (VET) and local development across Egypt and Palestine. The session, delivered by CARDET, provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the tool, including its objectives, methodology, structure, and implementation process.

The webinar highlighted the Self-Assessment Tool as a practical resource designed to support VET institutions in evaluating their progress towards adopting an entrepreneurial mindset. Participants explored how the tool can help identify institutional strengths, pinpoint areas for improvement, and inform strategic planning for future development.

Developed based on the European Training Foundation’s EntreCoVE conceptual framework, the tool has been carefully adapted to reflect the specific needs and contexts of VET providers in Egypt and Palestine.

During the session, attendees were guided through the tool’s four core dimensions: organisational practices, teaching and learning processes, products and services, and ecosystem engagement. The webinar also introduced the reflection-based methodology underpinning the tool, outlining the roles of local coaches and assessment teams, as well as the steps required to complete the self-assessment and produce the Reflections Report.

The implementation phase of the self-assessment will take place throughout April 2026, with participating organisations expected to submit their Reflections Reports by 15 May 2026.

Through this initiative, VET4Social Impact continues to empower VET providers in Egypt and Palestine to strengthen their institutional capacity, foster entrepreneurial approaches, and enhance their contribution to local socio-economic development.
