Youth FiLE: Financial Literacy for Youth Empowerment Now in Action

Youth FiLE (Financial Literacy for Empowerment) is an Erasmus+ KA220-YOU Cooperation Partnership in Youth running from October 2025 to March 2028. The project responds to the growing need to equip young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, with practical financial skills that support autonomy, resilience, and informed decision-making in everyday life. It places a strong focus on inclusion, digital transformation, and innovation in youth work, aligning with Erasmus+ priorities on quality, recognition, and accessibility of youth education.

The project addresses persistent gaps in financial literacy among young people, particularly NEETs, migrants, refugees, young offenders, and those from low-income backgrounds. Many young people rely on unverified online advice and lack opportunities to practice financial decision-making in safe learning environments. At the same time, youth workers often lack accessible, engaging, and up-to-date tools to deliver financial education effectively. Youth FiLE tackles these challenges through non-formal education, digital tools, and game-based learning approaches.
