DataGame Project Concludes, Advancing Data Protection Skills for Adult Educators
After two years of dedicated collaboration, the DataGame project has successfully concluded in October 2025, marking an important milestone in strengthening data privacy and safety competences across Europe’s adult education sector.
Developed under the Erasmus+ Programme, DataGame set out to address a pressing challenge: how adult educators and training providers can manage and protect data responsibly, ensuring full compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In an era of rapidly digitalising learning environments, these skills have become essential to safeguarding both educators and learners.
Through innovative tools and resources, the project developed a gamified e-learning platform designed to make learning about data protection both accessible and engaging. The platform equips adult education professionals with practical knowledge, interactive exercises, and real-world case scenarios to help them navigate complex data protection issues with confidence.
The DataGame consortium, comprising partners from across Europe, worked collaboratively to create materials that not only raise awareness but also foster a culture of responsible data use in adult learning.
