Series of Successful Multiplier Events for the RE.MA.C. Project
As the RE.MA.C. (Reinventing the Mainstream Classroom) project nears completion, a series of impactful Multiplier Events were hosted across Europe between July and November 2024. These events, held in Lisbon, Italy, Greece, and Malta, aimed to showcase the project’s achievements, specifically its digital tools, the e-Booklet for Teachers, and the e-Booklet for Students.
The events attracted a wide audience, including academics, students, and stakeholders in language teaching and learning. Each session effectively demonstrated how the project’s resources could be used to enhance language learning, encouraging attendees to promote and integrate these tools within their own edu
A major milestone reached during the final event in Malta was the launch of the RE.MA.C. Forum, an online platform where educators from partner countries can share insights, experiences, and ideas related to language teaching and learning. The events also highlighted three key project deliverables that empower teachers and students with new strategies and tools for language education:
- The e-Booklet for Teachers: A guide that illustrates practical ways to integrate the project’s digital tools into classroom settings, enhancing teaching methods
- The e-Booklet for Students: A resource designed to help students engage with language learning in more interactive and meaningful ways.
- The RoboTeacher Tool: An AI-powered chatbot that inspires both teachers and students participating in the project.
The series of events underscored the collaborative effort of the RE.MA.C. consortium in advancing innovative resources for language education. Participants provided positive feedback and expressed strong interest in disseminating and implementing these resources within their own teaching practices. By introducing attendees to these cutting-edge tools, the RE.MA.C. project continues to pave the way for a reimagined approach to mainstream classroom education.
