The Covid-19 pandemic disrupted the normal processes of almost any industry, globally and at a European level. Without exception, the educational organisations are now asked to be prepared to manage all types of disruptions that may occur while adapting to various scenarios that will emerge in the post-pandemic era. These cases include imposed lockdowns, mixed-presence teaching (having simultaneously face-to-face students and others joining remotely), participants’ (long-term) absence due to illness or quarantine purposes.
Following this need, a consortium of six partners from six EU countries, came together to implement the COVID-19 Digital Response project. The aim is to build the capacities of VET organisations in offering online, distance, and blended learning programmes, during both normal and emergency situations.
Thus, all those involved, such as VET providers, teachers, and students, will be able to create, deliver, and participate in educational experiences that have a business and learning continuity.
