Recent research studies have proven and confirmed the benefits of cycling on physical and mental health, and without a doubt, including cycling in our everyday lives can meet the recommended physical activity guidelines. If done correctly and effectively, cycling can offer its benefits to a higher degree.

The aim of the project is to stimulate an active and healthy life for young EU citizens, boost volunteering, and bring in the added value of cultural heritage through cycling. Specifically, this will be done through an e-learning platform containing digital tools to provide information about the different categories of cycling. An e-manual on the methodological guidelines for cycling trainers and coaches will also be made available to the public.

In addition, a software for trainers and professional cyclists will be designed and developed to test the performance of the cyclists. The C-TREND project aims to offer all the relevant information to people of all ages to achieve their highest individual performance in cycling.
