About the application
MindulManagers is a project funded by the European Commission, for the purposes of developing a training package for public sector managers in order to improve mindfulness and wellbeing in their workplace and within their teams. The training package includes a set of 5 Modules with activities around important aspects of mindfulness, as well as activities for reflections and case studies. Part of the training package is an online game with scenarios related to the 5 Modules. The game complements a training of a duration of about 1 month of sessions and activities.
Users view scenarios and make decisions, providing solutions to problems. Throughout the training sessions and the reflection rounds, users can play through a series of 140 mini scenarios, organized in 10 levels. The game can be also played as a standalone experience. At the beginning, users choose statements that reflect their current wellbeing situation. The game appropriates the scenarios and highlights the ones linked to the chosen statements. Each scenario describes a situation and users must choose the best option. After the feedback users get 2 bonus questions related to each scenario. In each level, the games appear as circles on a path and the successfully completed ones are marked with a star.
The goal of the MindfulManagers application is to enhance the training experience of managers regarding wellbeing at work. The application is part of a larger training program, which has a duration of 1 month. During this month, and between the sessions, managers are expected to play through the mini games to improve their practices of managing wellbeing at work.
