  • Design, develop and maintain websites using WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Customize and extend plugins and themes for WordPress, LearnDash, and Moodle to meet project-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with the instructional design, graphic design, and content teams to create engaging e-learning platforms.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize and improve site performance and user experience.
  • Develop and implement custom integrations and APIs between platforms as needed.
  • Ensure website security, scalability, and responsiveness across all devices.
  • Maintain detailed documentation for development processes and system configurations.
  • Provide basic IT support to staff, including troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
  • Assist with user account setups, system updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Liaise with external vendors or service providers to resolve technical issues and manage orders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field
  • Proven experience in web development
  • Demonstrable knowledge in the following domains
    • Basic knowledge of IT systems and hardware troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with email setups and software installations.
    • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
    • Proficiency in WordPress (themes, plugins, customizations) or similar CMS platforms.
    • Experience with Moodle and/or LearnDash.
    • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Less, JavaScript, and PHP.
    • Familiarity with MySQL databases and basic server management.
    • Knowledge of e-learning tools and standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI) is a plus.
