Five regional intercultural networks are being established in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Famagusta districts. This is an open call for call for people and organisations to support and participate in their work.

  • Develop - jointly work on improving local and national policies towards migration and diversity issues
  • Offer - have the opportunity for targeted charity work
  • Representation - propose your representative to participate in the intercultural networks’ future bodies such as thematic committees
MEMBERS

What is an intercultural network?

  • It is a group of organisations and individuals interested in contributing to building more diverse cities, towns and villages. Participation in the network is free of charge, voluntary and open to anyone who is interested to contribute.
    The members of the intercultural network will include (but is not limited to):
  • migrants and civil society organisations
  • diplomatic and consular bodies
  • public sector bodies including local authorities, municipalities and communities, public service organisations educational and social stakeholders, schools, universities, religious organisations
  • persons working in them) labour unions, business and employers’ associations
  • private organisations, businesses of any kind and size
  • Informal groups and individuals interested in promoting the migrant integration and intercultural issues, urban development as well as all related themes.

MEMBERS

Members’ obligations and responsibilities

  • To appoint a contact person and provide their contact details to receive the updates from the member to the network and vice versa.
  • To participate in the network’s main annual/general meeting(s) with at least one representative.
  • In the case of appointment to the Intercultural network’s committees to regularly attend all committee meetings.
  • To participate in the visibility, dissemination, and promotion of the values and activities of the network
