The Center for the Advancement of Research & Development in Educational Technology (CARDET), is pleased to announce the release of a book, titled Principles and Practice of Multi-site Randomized Controlled Trials in the Phase III Setting authored by Yale School of Public Health Professor, Peter N. Peduzzi, Ph.D. The book is available on Amazon as EPUB and via CARDET Press. It is published through a collaboration between CARDET and the Yale School of Public Health.

The book outlines principles and practices of multi-site, Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), primarily in the phase III setting. It covers practical issues related to the design, conduct, monitoring and analysis of multi-site trials and is illustrated with case studies. Readers will develop an understanding of the principles and practice of randomized clinical trials, attain the capacity to apply these principles to RCT design and learn how to critically review and report RCT findings.

The book signals a deepening collaboration between the institutions as was stipulated in the MOU signed in May 2019. Both agreed to extend their collaboration in the fields of research, education and development involving partnerships and the exchange of expertise, best practices and bilateral support.
