CARDET is currently looking for experienced Researchers - Project Managers who will be responsible for facilitating and executing the work required by the initiatives, programs, and research projects the Centre is implementing.  The positions are open for full-time or part-time engagement, depending on qualifications and availability.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of the roles:

  • Prepare research proposals, grant applications, and tenders 
  • Conduct literature reviews and prepare reports 
  • Conduct fieldwork research (interviews, survey research, observations, focus groups)
  • Prepare data collection instruments, collect, and analyse data 
  • Design courses for face-to-face, blended, and online delivery 
  • Develop reports, project outputs, training material
  • Deliver trainings in certain areas of expertise
  • Manage projects and offer administrative support for research projects 
  • Prepare and deliver project presentations 
  • Facilitate the organisation of workshops and dissemination activities 
  • Travel abroad for project meetings, events, and conferences.

Qualifications and experience

  • Strong experience with EU projects in a similar position 
  • A Masters and/or PhD  and/or demonstrated knowledge in any of the domains below would be considered an asset:
    • Education (inclusion, STEAM, SDGs, curriculum, ECEC, assessment, policy)
    • Digital learning 
    • Digital transformation, IT, and systems analysts 
    • Sports for development 
    • Quantitative research methods and statistical analysis in social sciences
    • Sustainable development
    • Active citizenship
    • Youth empowerment 
    • Innovation & Entrepreneurship
    • Green transition
  • Experience in and ability to design and deliver training for face-to-face and online settings
  • A proven track record of successful project implementation
