CARDET under of the European Project BADGE, «Business Advice and Guidance Training for Women Entrepreneurs», will be offering a second round of free pilot workshops, to assess the training material is developing in the context of the project, after the successful completion of the workshops provided in November 2014.

BADGE aims to transfer and adapt in the Cyprus context an innovative support programme - Diversity in Business Workshops - developed in the UK, and that will enable female start-ups experiencing double-disadvantage (i.e. women 45+, young unemployed women, women from rural areas) to gain valuable soft skills and competences to assist them starting up their own business.

Specifically, pilot workshops will include the following themes:

  1. Understand if I am suited to work for myself
  2. Manage the move from employment to self-employment
  3. Increase self-confidence & self-belief to start-up
  4. Set up & run a business

The pilot workshops will be offered on Wednesday, 13 May 2015 and Friday, 15 May 2015, starting on both days at 17:00.

The workshops will take place at CARDET offices, at 29 Lykavitou Avenue (1st floor), Nicosia 240, Cyprus. Here is a map of the offices.

Certifications will be awarded to participants upon the successful completion of the pilot workshops.
